Your company may reward you for carpooling with co-workers as well, and sometimes even your city will offer incentives for alternative travel by bus, train or carpool. Contact your company or your local government for up-to-date benefits, as new legislation is always being introduced these days in an effort to combat not only traffic, but pollution and energy costs.
